Object of the society

a. To take of the Registration under the societies registration act xxi if 1860 and assume the affairs and activities of the Pondicherry football Association as it now exists and to on time its name and take over the dues to and assets, liabilities, commitments and undertakings of the said association.

b. To maintain a general control of the game of Football in the state and give its decision in all matters concerning the game either when refereed to or suo Moto.

c. To spread the game throughout the state by organizing tournaments, including inter-school and inter association matches, to educate young sports men in the game generally and also in the field of physical culture and the spirit of sportsmanship.

d. To maintain as far as possible a library of books, publications and periodicals of interest to sportsmen and to diffuse knowledge of football and its ideals of sportsmanship.

e. To communicate with public authorities and various sports organizations in India and abroad concert and promote measures for the protection of the game and the players and promote measures for their improvement.

f. With the aid of government and other sources to provide acquire and maintain suitable places, playgrounds, buildings and club houses to afford facilities for footballers to acquire by purchase , lease, hire or otherwise suitable playgrounds, stadium and any other property movable and immovable, rights or privileges to the same and to provide all amenties there on for the promotion of the objects of the Association.

g. To lay out any ground for players the game and for other purposes and to provide pavilion, canteen and other conveniences and amemties in connection there with and for such purpose purchases, such price or rent and for such period and upon such terms and conditions as may seem expedient.

h. To establish, promote or assist in establishing and promoting and to subscribe to and become a member of any other association or club whether incorporated or not whose objects are similar or in part similar to the objects for association, the establishment or promotion of which may be beneficial to the association an in particular to subscribe to finance give or land money to guarantee the contracts of the All India Football Federation or other body for the time being controlling the game in India or any part there of and any state or regional association recognized by such body.

i. To create, foster, and maintain friendly relations with and amongst the population of the area under its control through sports, tournaments and competitions connected there with to create develop and foster a healthy spirit of sportsmanship and a broad and generous outlook devoid of all prejudices and to mould the character of citizens through the medium of sports in general and football in particular.

j. To import physical education through the medium of football and take all assist the citizens to development their physique and have a healthy mind and a healthy body.

k. Whenever possible to spread the ideals of football and all that it stands for throughout the length and breadth of its area by arranging schools for coaching, lectures, tournaments and run international matches between India and other foreign countries as on to develop mutual goodwill and better understanding between India and other countries.

l. To set apart funds and appoint committees from time to time to run such matches for the achievement of the objects of the association and to utilize the net proceeds there of towards the implementation of the objects set out herein and to educate the public, the school boys, college students, cinbs etc, in football and its ideas.

m. To have as many classes of members with such rights as the general body may decide from time to time
