As per the instructions from the All India Football Federation,  a Sub-Junior Inter-School Tournament which was Sponsored by SB IT Connection Pvt., Ltd., Pondicherry, was conducted at Jipmer Football Ground in September 2009.  The following teams have participated.

1. Rajiv Gandhi School of Sports.
2. Jeevanandham Government Higher Secondary  
    School.
3. Achariya Higher Secondary School.
4. Adithiya Vidhya Mandhir.
5. Government High School, Thirukkanoor.
6. Government High School, Karikkalam pakkam.
7. St.Patrick Higher Secondary School.
8. Karaikal Coaching Center.
9. Navalar Neduncezhiyan Higher School.

Achariya Vidhya Mandhir and Rajiv Gandhi School of Sports emerged as Winners and Runners of the Tournament respectively, the former Chief Minister of Pondicherry Mr. N. Rangasamy distributed the prizes.

35 member of players participated in the tournament were selected for the coaching camp which is under progress at Jeevanadham Government Higher Secondary School Ground.  Mr.K.Selvaraj, Hony Assistent Secretary and Mr.V.Paneerselvam the C License coach is looking after the coaching camp.
